Characters You Didn't Know Were Voiced by the Same Person (Part Two)

Welcome back! I really enjoyed researching and finding out that so many of our beloved characters were voiced by the same actors. After going back and rewatching some of the movies, you can definitely hear it! So, here’s part two, with more legendary Disney voice actors and actresses.

Jimmy MacDonald

Jimmy is a professional sound effect actor, who lends his voice to create different sounds within films, other than regular human voices. He has starred in almost all Disney movies through the 1930s to the 1970s. Some familiar sounds he’s made are Dopey’s hiccups and cries in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Chip from many Chip and Dale shorts, he was the voice of Mickey Mouse from 1947-1977, he was the voice of Jaq, Gus and Bruno in Cinderella (1950), the dormouse in Alice in Wonderland (1951), and the tick tock crocodile from Peter Pan (1953). An interesting fact about him is that he is the person that preceded the voice of Mickey Mouse right after Walt Disney.

Bruce Reitherman

Bruce is the son of Disney animator Wolfgang Reitherman, who went on to be a voice actor, director, producer and writer. As a child, since his father had close ties with the company, he was able to voice two very iconic little boys. He played Christopher Robin in a 1966 short, as well as in the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977), and Mowgli in the Jungle Book (1967).
